Description: Syntaxin 12 (STX12), also known as STX13 or STX14, is a 276 amino acid single-pass type IV membrane protein that belongs to the syntaxin family. It is a broadly and differentially expressed SNARE protein, highly enriched in brain tissue. STX12 is localized to early and recycling endosomes and is involved in the recycling of plasma membrane proteins. It also has a role in the trafficking of MMP during degradation of ECM substrates and subsequent cellular invasion. This antibody recognizes a major 39 kDa band of endogenous STX12. In some cases, two additional bands of 33 kDa and 66 kDa could also be detected, which most likely represent a degradation product and a SNARE complex respectively .

Description: Tab2 has a role in the inflammatory signal transduction pathway and is involved in the reversal of NCoR-dependent and NFkB- or APP-mediated gene repression and androgen antagonist response. Besides, it is identified as a cofactor for ERBB4 to assemble NCoR corepressor complex in response to neuregulin . It also functions as an adaptor that links TAK1 and TRAF6 in response to interleukin-1β (IL-1β) or tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and thereby mediates TAK1 activation .

Supplier: Proteintech
Description: SUZ12, also termed CHET9, JJAZ1 or KIAA0160, belongs to the VEFS (VRN2-EMF2-FIS2-SU(Z)12) family. It is a polycomb group (PcG) protein. SUZ12 is a component of the PRC2/EED-EZH2 complex, which methylates 'Lys-9' and 'Lys-27' of histone H3, leading to transcriptional repression of the affected target gene. The PRC2/EED-EZH2 complex may also serve as a recruiting platform for DNA methyltransferases, thereby linking two epigenetic repression systems. Genes repressed by the PRC2/EED-EZH2 complex include HOXC8, HOXA9, MYT1 and CDKN2A. A chromosomal aberration involving SUZ12 may be a cause of endometrial stromal tumors.

Description: Survivin, also called BIRC5, is a unique member of the inhibitor of apoptosis (IAP) protein family. Survivin is a 16 kDa anti-apoptotic protein highly expressed during fetal development and cancer cell malignancy, but is completely absent in terminally differentiated cells. The differential expression of survivin in cancer versus normal tissues makes it a useful tool in cancer diagnosis and a promising therapeutic target. Survivin expression is also highly regulated by the cell cycle and is only expressed in the G2-M phase. It is known that survivin localizes to the mitotic spindle by interaction with tubulin during mitosis and may play a contributing role in regulating mitosis. Disruption of survivin-microtubule interactions results in loss of survivin's anti-apoptosis function and increased caspase-3 activity, a mechanism involved in cell death, during mitosis. It also is a direct target gene of the Wnt pathway and is upregulated by beta-catenin.

Description: THAP1 belongs to the THAP1 family. It is a DNA-binding transcription regulator that regulates endothelial cell proliferation and G1/S cell-cycle progression. THAP1 may also have pro-apoptopic activity by potentiating both serum-withdrawal and TNF-induced apoptosis. Mutations in THAP1 have been associated with dystonia 6. THAP1 encodes a transcription factor with mostly unknown targets. It regulates the expression of DYT1 (TOR1A), another dystonia-causing gene. After characterization of the TOR1A promoter, THAP1 binds to the core promoter of TOR1A. Wild type THAP1 represses the expression of TOR1A, whereas dystonia 6-associated mutant THAP1 results in decreased repression of TOR1A. Catalog#12584-1-AP is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against full-length of huamn THAP1.

Description: TDG belongs to the TDG/mug DNA glycosylase family. TDG corrects G/T mispairs to G/C pairs. It is capable of hydrolyzing the carbon-nitrogen bond between the sugar-phosphate backbone of the DNA and a mispaired thymine. In addition to the G/T, it can remove thymine also from C/T and T/T mispairs in the order G/T >> C/T > T/T. It has no detectable activity on apyrimidinic sites and does not catalyze the removal of thymine from A/T pairs or from single-stranded DNA. It can also remove uracil and 5-bromouracil from mispairs with guanine. RNF4 interacts with and requires the base excision repair enzymes TDG and APE1 for active demethylation . TDG is modified by SUMO-1 and SUMO-2/3.The molecular weight of non-modified TDG is 60 kDa and modified TDG is 86 kDa.

Description: Transferrin(TF) is also named as Beta-1 metal-binding globulin, Siderophilin and belongs to the transferrin family. It is a bilobal iron-binding protein that plays the crucial role of binding ferric iron and keeping it in solution, thereby controlling the levels of this important metal. Serum transferrin may have a further role in stimulating cell proliferation.
