Catalog Number: (76262-696)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: ERK2 antibodies detect the ERK2 isoform. Mitogen activiated protein kinase 1, also known as MAPK1, ERK, or ERK2, is an integral component of the MAP kinase cascade that regulates cell growth and differentiation. ERK1 and ERK2 are activated by MEK1 and MEK2 in the B-raf signaling pathway resulting in its translocation to the nucleus where it phosphorylates nuclear targets. Human ERK1 and ERK2 are 84% identical in sequence and share common functionality in cells. Anti-ERK2 antibody is ideal for investigators involved in Neuroscience, Cell Signaling and Cancer Research.

Catalog Number: (76262-710)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: BCL3 belongs to the ANKRD family. The protein contains seven ankyrin repeats, which are closely related to those found in I kappa B proteins. BCL3 functions as a transcriptional co-activator, regulator of transcriptional activation, promotor of transcription, and inhibitor of nuclear translocation of NF-kappa B. It is a proto-oncogene identified by its translocation into the immunoglobulin alpha-locus in some cases of B-cell leukemia. BCL3 contributes to the regulation of cell proliferation. Therefore, BCL3 may be associated with B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia, lymphoma, or other hematologic diseases. Anti-BCL3 Antibody is useful for researchers interested in Cancer Research, NF-Kappa B Pathway, and TNF Signaling Pathway.

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: ZO-1, also called TJP1, belongs to the MAGUK family. This gene encodes a protein located on a cytoplasmic membrane surface of intercellular tight junctions. The encoded protein may be involved in signal transduction at cell-cell junctions. The N-terminal may be involved in transducing a signal required for tight junction assembly, while the C-terminal may have specific properties of tight junctions. The alpha domain might be involved in stabilizing junctions. ZO-1 plays a role in the regulation of cell migration by targeting CDC42BPB to the leading edge of migrating cells. ZO1 may be associated the following disorders; celiac desease, congenital nephrotic syndrome finnish type, and macular degeneration. Anti-ZO-1 Antibody is useful for researchers interested in Apoptosis Research and Insulin Research.

Description: TP53 (tumor suppressor gene p53) is one of the most well-studied genes that suppresses tumor formation and renders protection against DNA damage by inducing cell cycle arrest, DNA repair, or apoptosis. TP53 signaling is triggered through numerous cellular events ranging from DNA damage to hypoxia, stress and a plethora of other causes. Upon activation, p53 acts as zinc-containing transcriptional regulator and initiates a cascade of events that determines the cellular outcome including cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, senescence, DNA repair, development, differentiation and tissue homeostasis. Cell cycle arrest is induced by p53 via trans-activating genes such as p21 (CDK-inhibitor 1, cyclin dependent kinase) and others. Interestingly, p53 itself is capable of triggering cellular responses (survival or induced cell death) as well. Mutations or deletions in the TP53 gene are present in nearly 50% of human cancers, and primarily results in impaired tumor suppressor function. Anti-p53 (ac Lys292) antibody is ideal for researchers interested in developmental biology, cell growth and cancer research.

Catalog Number: (75929-250)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: Immunity-related GTPases (IRG) (also known as p47 GTPases) are a family of GTPase proteins found in vertebrates, which play critical roles in mediating innate resistance to intracellular pathogens. IRG genes have been found in a number of mammals and lower species including mice, rats, zebrafish and humans. Most of the mouse genes contain interferon-stimulated response elements which mediate transcriptional activation by IFNs. In humans, only two IRG genes have been found: human IRGC encodes a full-length IRG protein that, like the mouse homologue, is constitutively expressed in testis, while human IRGM encodes a considerably truncated protein that is constitutively expressed in cultured cells including some macrophage cell lines. As the two human genes IRGC and IRGM are not subject to IFN control, it has been suggested that the host resistance mechanism supported by IRG proteins in the mouse is lacking in humans.

Description: Anti-Invertase antibody recognizes invertase which hydrolyzes the alpha-1,4-glycosidic bond between alpha-D-glucose and beta-D-fructose of sucrose. Bees use invertase to convert nectar to honey. In the confectionary industry, yeast-derived invertase is used to hydrolyze sucrose to glucose and fructose as fructose is more sweeter and less prone to crystallization.

Anti-Invertase antibody is ideal for investigators interested in Metabolism and Cell Biology.
