Supplier: Adipogen
Description: ZSTK474 Inhibits all four PI3K isoforms in an ATP-competitive manner. IC(50) is approximately 37nM.

Catalog Number: (102981-758)
Supplier: Adipogen
Description: Human CD19 is a B cell restricted membrane protein expressed from early stages of B cell development and associates with the antigen receptor complex. CD19 is involved in the regulation of B cell proliferation.

Description: Antibiotic

Supplier: Adipogen
Description: TRAIL-R1 (DR4; CD261) is a receptor for the cytotoxic ligand TRAIL. The adapter molecule FADD recruits caspase-8 to the activated receptor. The resulting death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) performs caspase-8 proteolytic activation which initiates the subsequent cascade of caspases (aspartate-specific cysteine proteases) mediating apoptosis. Promotes the activation of NF-kappaB.

Supplier: Adipogen
Description: Photo-stable fluorescent probe (Ex: ~560nm; Em: 575nm) for the detection of nitric oxide (NO) in presence of oxygen, resulting in a triazolo-rhodamine analog (DAR-4M T) that exhibits about 840-fold greater fluorescence quantum efficiency. Suitable probe for monitoring RNS production, but not NO alone. Stable in a pH range of 4-12. Detection limit ~10nM.

Supplier: Adipogen
Description: Because of its relatively constant and well-known fluorescence quantum yield, quinine is also used in photochemistry as a common fluorescence standard. It has been used for imaging of oxygen evolution and oxide formation. Chloride and bromide have been shown to quench fluorescence. Generally it is famous as potassium channel blocker with antipyretic (fever-reducing), antimalarial, analgesic (painkilling), and anti-inflammatory properties.

Supplier: Adipogen
Description: Sensitive NO probe, LOD of 10 nM, shows higher photostability than the classical fluorescein derivative DAF. Spectral data: lambdaex 562nm; lambdaem 579nm in 0.1 M phosphate pH 7.4.

Supplier: Adipogen
Description: Periostin is a 90-kDa matricellular protein that consists of a typical signal sequence, followed by a cysteine-rich region, an EMI domain (protein-protein interactions), four tandem fasciclin-like domains that are responsible for integrin binding, and a C-terminal region. Periostin was originally isolated as an osteoblast-specific factor that functions as a cell adhesion molecule for pre-osteoblasts and in osteoblast recruitment, attachment and spreading. Periostin is also involved in many fundamental biological processes such as cell proliferation, cell invasion and angiogenesis. Periostin expression is increased by both transforming growth factor beta1 (TGF-beta1) and bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP-2). Changes in periostin expression are commonly detected in various cancers and pre-cancerous conditions, and periostin may be involved in regulating cancer cell activities that contribute to tumorigenesis, cancer progression and metastasis. Periostin has shown to be involved in many aspects of allergic inflammation, such as eosinophil recruitment, airway remodeling, development of a Th2 phenotype and increased expression of inflammatory mediators. It is evaluated as a biomarker for bronchial asthma and airway inflammation.

Supplier: Adipogen
Description: Intermediate formed in the valine catabolism. It is a reactant of the enzymes involved in branched chain amino acid metabolism 3-hydroxyisobutyrate dehydrogenase and 3-hydroxyisobutyryl-CoA hydrolase and it was found to have increased concentrations in MS patient metabolic profiles. This compound may be used to study the distribution, characterization and kinetics of these enzymes. Shown to inhibit key enzymes of the energy metabolism.

Supplier: Adipogen
Description: GNE 477 is a potent and efficacious dual PI3K/mTOR inhibitor with an IC(50) value of 4nM and 21nM respectively.

Supplier: Adipogen
Description: Iron (III) ionophore dye.

Catalog Number: (102981-470)
Supplier: Adipogen
Description: CD80 (B7-1) and CD86 (B7-2) together with their receptors CD28 and CTLA-4 constitute one of the dominant costimulatory pathways that regulate T cell and B cell responses. Although both CTLA-4 and CD28 can bind to the same ligands, CTLA-4 binds to B7-1 and B7-2 with a 20-100 fold higher affinity than CD28 and is involved in the down-regulation of the immune response. B7-1 is expressed on activated B cells, activated T cells and macrophages. B7-2 is constitutively expressed on interdigitating dendritic cells, Langerhans cells, peripheral blood dendritic cells, memory B cells, and germinal center B cells. Additionally, B7-2 is expressed at low levels on monocytes and can be up-regulated through interferon-gamma. B7-1 and B7-2 are both members of the immunoglobulin superfamily. It has been observed that both human and mouse B7-1 and B7-2 can bind to either human or mouse CD28 and CTLA-4, suggesting that there are conserved amino acids which form the B7-1/B7-2/CD28/CTLA-4 critical binding sites.

Catalog Number: (102513-268)
Supplier: Adipogen
Description: Human CD80 (B7-1) is a costimulatory ligand for CD28 and CD152 (CTLA-4). CD80 is expressed on activated B cells.
