Catalog Number: (76119-590)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Deoxyribonuclease I gene is approximately 3.2 kb long with 9 exons separated by 8 introns. In the form of a bovine pancreatic enzyme preparation, it occupies an important place in the history of protein chemistry and enzymology: it was the first enzyme to be recognized as specific for DNA; it was the first DNase to be crystallized; and it was the first DNase for which a specific protein inhibitor was characterized. DNase I is a Ca2+ and Mg2+ dependant endonuclease. DNase I is synthesized in the pancreas and stored in zymogen granules. It has been used to reduce the viscosity of cystic fibrosis sputum. A DNase I-like enzyme appears to catalyze the degradation of chromatin to oligo- and mononucleosomes during apoptosis. A recent study has demonstrated an endonuclease with activity and antigenicity indistinguishable from DNase I in thymocytes, cells susceptible to apoptosis. DNase I is an endonuclease that hydrolyzes double-stranded or single stranded DNA preferentially at sites adjacent to pyrimidine nucleotides. The product of hydrolysis is a complex mixture of 5'-phosphate mononucleotides and oligonucleotides. In the presence of Mg ion, DNase I attacks each strand of DNA independently and the cleavage sites are random.

Supplier: VWR
Description: Contains 0.1% sodium azide as preservative and strictly tested for RNase, DNase and Protease making it suitable for sensitive applications.
Supplier: VWR International
Description: Our tubes feature an improved easy open snap seal that will not pop open during boiling. An ergonomically designed cap makes these tubes easier to open and close than other tubes. All tubes feature frosted writing surfaces on the cap and side for smear resistant labeling. Graduated tubes feature external graduations every 100 L. Molded from clarified virgin polypropylene for unmatched strength and clarity. All tubes are RNase- and DNase-free.

Catalog Number: (77001-900)
Supplier: Zymo Research
Description:
Zymo research DNase I is a recombinant endonuclease that cleaves single- and double-stranded DNA. It digests DNA more efficiently than other DNase I, making it optimal for sensitive applications like NGS (RNA-seq) and PCR. It is extensively purified, and quality controlled to ensure RNase-free and protease-free.

Catalog Number: (10749-270)
Supplier: Prosci
Description: DNase II Antibody: Apoptosis is characterized by several morphological nuclear changes including chromatin condensation and nuclear fragmentation. These changes are triggered by the activation of members of caspase family, caspase activated DNase, and several novel proteins including AIF and Acinus. DNase II causes both chromatin condensation and DNA fragmentation. The genes encoding human, porcine, and murine DNase II have been cloned. The DNase II gene encodes a 40 kDa proenzyme. The mature enzyme consists of two non-identical subunits, the 32 kDa (alpha) and 12 kDa (beta) chains, generated by proteolytic processing. Overexpression of DNase II induces chromatin condensation. DNase II is ubiquitously expressed in human tissues.
