Description: Primary Human Pulmonary Artery Smooth Muscle Cells (HPASMC) are isolated from human pulmonary arteries and stain positive for smooth muscle α-actin

Supplier: Promocell, Inc.
Description: PromoCell hMSC-AT are harvested from normal human adipose tissue. The cells are tested for their ability to differentiate in vitro into adipocytes, chondrocytes, and osteoblasts.

Supplier: Promocell, Inc.
Description: Primary Human Dermal Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HDMEC) are isolated from the dermis of juvenile foreskin and adult skin (different locations)

Supplier: Promocell, Inc.
Description: Pericytes are multipotent mesenchymal-like cells found in association with small blood vessel walls. They are important for angiogenesis, the structural integrity of the microvasculature, and blood flow regulation. However, they can also develop into malignant tumors called hemangiopericytomas.

Description: The PromoCell Airway Epithelial Cell Growth Medium is a serum-free medium optimized for the cultivation of epithelial cells from large air passages

Supplier: Promocell, Inc.
Description: These Dulbecco's PBS solution are used in tissue culture, cell isolation procedures and molecular biology.
Supplier: Promocell, Inc.
Description: The PromoCell Macrophage Generation Medium was developed for easy and efficient generation of M1- or M2-polarized macrophages from freshly isolated peripheral blood monocytes

Supplier: Promocell, Inc.
Description: The PromoCell Mammary Epithelial Cell Growth Medium is a serum-free medium developed for the cultivation of epithelial cells from the mammary gland

Supplier: Promocell, Inc.
Description: Trypsin is the most widely employed enzyme used for cell detachment.

Supplier: Promocell, Inc.
Description: Primary Human Pulmonary Artery Endothelial Cells (HPAEC) are isolated from human pulmonary arteries (the main pulmonary artery, left and right branches)

Supplier: Promocell, Inc.
Description: Primary Human Osteoblasts (HOB) are isolated from femoral trabecular bone tissue from the knee or hip joint region (lot specific source information is available on request). They stain positive for alkaline phosphatase and can be mineralized using PromoCell Mineralization Medium.

Supplier: Promocell, Inc.
Description: Primary Human Skeletal Muscle Cells (SkMC) are isolated from different skeletal muscles (e.g. Musculus pectoralis major) from adult single donors (lot specific source information is available on request). They are positive for sarcomeric myosin and negative for smooth muscle specific α-actin. New skeletal muscle cells originate from quiescent satellite cells, which are located in the muscle fibers between the basal lamina and the sarcolemma. Quiescent satellite cells are activated by stimuli such as muscle damage. After activation, the cells, now called myoblasts, start to proliferate and fuse with damaged muscle fibers or with one another forming new myotubes.

Supplier: Promocell, Inc.
Description: Primary Normal Human Epidermal Melanocytes (NHEM) are isolated from the epidermis of juvenile foreskin or adult skin from different locations including the face, the breasts, the abdomen, and the thighs. They are located in the stratum basale, but branch out between the keratinocytes in suprabasal layers. About 5-10 % of the cells in the epidermis are melanocytes. The main purpose of melanocytes is the production of melanin, the protein responsible for the pigmentation of the skin, eyes, and hair. Melanin protects the cells in the skin and in deeper layers from the hazardous effects of UV radiation.

Supplier: Promocell, Inc.
Description: Primary Human Dermal Blood Endothelial Cells (HDBEC) are a subpopulation of the Human Dermal Endothelial Cells. They are isolated from the dermis of juvenile foreskin and adult skin (different locations) from a single donor. (Human Dermal Lymphatic Endothelial Cells (HDLEC) from the same donor are available on request.) The cells are routinely analyzed by flow cytometric analysis and immunofluorescent staining: they are > 95% CD31 positive and stain positive for von Willebrand factor. In addition, they are > 90% negative for podoplanin and stain negative for smooth muscle specific alpha-actin.
