CentriVap™ Pro DNA Vacuum Concentrators are designed to speed evaporation of solvents from DNA samples and other very small samples. The compact benchtop instrument includes the concentrator, DNA Rotor, diaphragm vacuum pump, two glass traps and all connecting tubing. No additional components are required to begin processing.
Pre-programmed menu of methods for a wide variety of sample types
Desiccant mode for vacuum desiccation of samples
End point assist aids in determining dryness on select sample volumes and temperatures
Glass lid for increased chemical resistance
Customizable rotor speed from 500 to 1800 rpm
Audible alarm signals completion of programmed method
5” Touchscreen display offers complete control without any extra equipment
Easily view, plot, and export sample run data for analysis and publication, with support for CSV and PDF file formats. VaporWorks™ OS allows customization and storage of run parameters to build a virtually unlimited library of sample methods. Ethernet connectivity enables automated alerts about sample run data, method parameters, maintenance, and software updates. In-run parameter changes allow full manipulation of rotor speed, temperature, run time, and vacuum pressure without stopping the program currently in progress.
Stackable sample rotors double the lab’s sample capacity and are available on select rotor styles. Rotor imbalance detection protects the instrument by alerting users of potential balance issues. A built-in vacuum delay prevents bumping by allowing the rotor to achieve speed before applying vacuum. The built-in vacuum gauge allows for accurate vacuum pressure readings and control, ensuring reliable operation during sample processing.
The chamber preheat feature achieves the temperature set point before samples are placed in the chamber, improving consistency. The lid latch with a safety sensor locks the lid in place when the rotor is turning and prevents startup when the lid is open, enhancing user safety. These features work together to maintain optimal conditions and protect both the user and the instrument during operation.
A 300 W heater speeds evaporation by supplying a controlled amount of heat, adjustable from OFF to a maximum of 100 °C in 1° increments. This precise control supports a wide range of sample types and evaporation needs, making the system versatile and efficient for laboratory workflows.
