Sulfuric Acid, Reagent, ACS is an extremely corrosive acid that comes as yellowy slightly viscous liquid. It is soluble in water and is a diprotic acid. It has very strong corrosive, dehydrating and oxidizing properties as well as being hygroscopic. It uses range from detergent production, antifreeze, pharmaceuticals and fertilizers to cellophane, lubricants and production of explosives. As an ACS grade Reagent, Spectrum Chemical manufactured sulfuric acid is used as the quality standard against which other substances are graded and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and pureness
