Tissue Forceps
Forceps
Tissue forceps with 1×2 teeth have one tooth on one tip and two teeth on the other tip of the tweezers. These tweezers have a fine tip for delicate tissue manipulation, such as during ophthalmic surgery or plastic surgery.

  • Surgical grade stainless steel or premium German steel
  • Straight or curved tip
  • 1×2 teeth at the tip for a firm hold

Laboratory researchers choose these tissue forceps for precision work and microdissection. The teeth ensure a firm grasp of the tissue, which is ideal for slippery or hard to hold tissues. While tweezers with teeth run the risk of puncturing delicate tissue, the 1×2 configuration causes less tissue trauma than surgical tweezers with more teeth. These are available with curved or straight tips.

The curved tips offer greater visibility of the operating area. They are 12.5 cm (5") long and fit easily into your hand for precision work. These are manufactured with surgical grade stainless steel or our premium German steel, both of which are suitable for sterilization by autoclave or chemical sterilant. As with all fine surgical instruments, for best results and a long life for the instruments, always clean your surgical forceps thoroughly after each use.
