Scotch-Weld™ epoxy adhesives are designed for applications where high performance and flexible bonds are required.
- Flexible adhesive provides a strong and permanent bond, even under vibration and impact
- Maintains high shear and peel strength
- Capable of bonding to a wide variety of different materials
Once fully cured, these epoxies maintain an extremely strong bond under expansion, contraction, and limited movement. They also maintain a good retention of strength over time and after environmental aging. With a 2:3 mix ratio, these are low viscosity epoxies. They flow smoothly for accurate dispensing.
Epoxy Adhesive 2216 is a flexible, two-part epoxy adhesive that cures at room temperature. It provides a high strength bond with both high shear and peel strength while remaining highly flexible, making it ideal for applications where vibration and thermal expansion and contraction are common. It also withstands very cold temperatures without overly embrittling. Epoxy Adhesive DP105 is a very flexible, fast-setting, two-part epoxy adhesive that cures clear for invisible bond lines. Epoxy Adhesive DP110 Gray is a flexible, fast-setting, two-part epoxy adhesive that works well on a variety of substrates, including metals, ceramics, concrete, composites, wood, and many plastics. Epoxy Adhesive 190 is a two-part epoxy adhesive that delivers exceptional performance with high shear and peel strength. Extremely compatible, it is formulated to bond to a wide range of materials, such as metals, ceramics, wood, fiberboard, glass, rubber, and many plastics. Epoxy Adhesive DP100 is a two-part, rigid epoxy adhesive offering a fast cure and machinability. It is a fast-setting epoxy that cures at room temperature to form a rigid bond. Its low viscosity allows for easy dispensing and leveling.
Their flexibility makes them ideal for applications involving dissimilar surfaces, and where differing coefficients of thermal expansion are a consideration.
