CAPP offers three versions of their multi-channel instruments specifically designed to make easy work of pipetting in the 384-well configuration.
- For work with 384-well plates
- Full-grip tip ejector
- Fixed and variable volume
- Ambidextrous design
- One-hand volume setting
- Fully autoclavable
The instruments are perfect for small quantities of plates that do not justify the cost of robotic systems. Each pipettor uses CAPP's unique aluminum alloy shaft design with O-ring sealing rings. Interchangeable volume control knobs allow switching from variable to fix volume settings in an instant. Ambidextrous ergonomic grip design makes maneuvering the pipette a breeze for aligning with the 384-well plate. Virtually unbreakable barrels allow effortless tip mounting and ejection forces even with 64 tips at a time. Tips are available sterile and sterile with filters. Excellent to use with your PCR applications, microarrays, and MALDI spectrometry techniques. Three-year warranty.
The 16-channel pipettor is made from anodized aluminum, high-grade stainless steel, and durable plastic, is highly resistant to most laboratory chemicals. Each tip-cone allows effortless and leak-free tip mounting. Volume setting is easy. Simply turn the digital micrometer on the variable volume controller to the required setting, adjustable in 0.1 L increments. A fixed controller is also provided for pipetting 10 L. This unit is ergonomically shaped to help prevent repetitive strain injuries. CappAero is a trademark of Capp A/S.
