Human FABP1 ELISA Kit
Supplier: CLOUD-CLONE CORP MS
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detecting Human FABP1 (Fatty Acid Binding Protein 1). The assay range is from 1.56 to 100 ng/ml (Sandwich kit) with a sensitivity of 0.59 ng/ml. There is no detectable cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins. Activity loss rate and accelerated stability test ect have been conducted to guarantee the best performance of the products after long storage and delivery.
- High sensitivity and specificity
- Perfect reproducibility and consistency across batches
- Quality control with three-level inspections
- Wide range of targets/species available
- Intra-assay: CV<10%; Inter-assay: CV<12%
FABP1 encodes the fatty acid binding protein found in liver. Fatty acid-binding protein is an abundant constituent of the cytoplasm that regulates lipid transport and metabolism. It binds free fatty acids, their CoA derivatives, bilirubin, organic anions, and other small molecules. Liver fatty acid-binding protein is required for cholesterol synthesis and metabolism. Chen et al. (1986) used cDNA of liver FABP in Southern analysis of human/mouse cell hybrid DNA and assigned the FABPL locus to 2p. Sparkes et al. (1987) confirmed the assignment to chromosome 2 and regionalized the gene to 2p11 by in situ hybridization. Sweetser et al. (1987) found that the mouse homolog of this gene is located on chromosome 6, within 3 cm of the lymphocyte antigen-2 (Ly-2) locus.
