Human CHGA ELISA Kit
Supplier: CLOUD-CLONE CORP MS
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detecting Human CHGA (Chromogranin A). The assay range is from 31.2 to 2000 pg/ml (Sandwich kit) with a sensitivity of 13.7 pg/ml. There is no detectable cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins. Activity loss rate and accelerated stability test ect have been conducted to guarantee the best performance of the products after long storage and delivery.
- High sensitivity and specificity
- Perfect reproducibility and consistency across batches
- Quality control with three-level inspections
- Wide range of targets/species available
- Intra-assay: CV<10%; Inter-assay: CV<12%
Chromogranin A (CgA) is a glycoprotein found in neuroendocrine cells and may be useful as a tumor marker for neuroendocrine tumors. Elevated circulating chromogranin A (CgA) levels are found in neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), but the diagnostic usefulness of this marker is still debatable. Research demonstrates that higher CgA levels associate with metastatic disease, confirming that CgA levels can provide a helpful practical biochemical marker for the clinical management of NETs, but with low sensitivity and specificity. Human chromogranin A is 439 amino acid protein with a molecular weight of 49 kilodalton. It is a secretory protein that is produced by the dense-core vesicles of neuroendocrine cells.
