Ideal for extended, high-resolution linear runs and economical quick screens

Buffer recirculation capability permits high resolution electrophoresis of nucleic acids in low ionic strength buffers. The casting fixture and outside unit design permit gel preparation while minimizing leaks. Well visualization stripes improve visibility and facilitate gel loading. The lid is vented to reduce condensation, and gel trays transmit 312nm UV light. An electrical gravity connector minimizes electrical hazards and eliminates sample disturbance during setup. Gold-plated electrical fittings and 99.9% platinum electrodes resist corrosion and withstand rapid, high-voltage polarity switching applications. The unit can be used with a sample quick loader. It accommodates up to four combs and is compatible with IBI MPH combs.
