This centrifuge maximizes blood tube capacity in a surprisingly small footprint, features a simple user interface, and comes equipped with a robust drive system to handle the demanding working environment
Nine acceleration and ten deceleration (including coast profiles) allow optimization of protocols. The new, motorized lid-lock makes loading and unloading easier than ever. In addition, the SX4700 rotor offers adapters for spinning certain Beckman Coulter blood tube racks directly in the centrifuge.
The SX4700 swinging bucket rotor (89429-570), with four hexagonal buckets, allows to spin up to 140 blood tubes (140 13 mm blood tubes, 100 17 mm blood tubes) with the use of proper tube adapters at a force of up to 4470xg, ideal for high-throughput labs. Less time is spent on setting up to allow more time for sample processing.
