The Stirling VAULT100 features a new, more robust, free-piston Stirling engine design that delivers unsurpassed temperature uniformity and stability. It’s the first ULT freezer with a −100 to −20 °C temperature range and the best steady-state setpoint adherence in the market: ±3 °C* (9-position) uniformity and ±0.2 °C* (single-position) stability at −80 °C.
An updated interface shares freezer health analytics, keeping you in closer touch with your work. In addition, it’s designed with a 360-degree sustainability approach that doesn’t sacrifice performance or energy efficiency. The M6D Stirling engine builds on the advantages of the industry-changing technology to deliver the most robust, efficient and reliable performance. The simplicity of the engine is its superpower, there are only a few moving parts in contactless linear motion, supported by gas bearings so there is no need for oil in the system. Using continuous modulation with advanced electronics, rather than stop/start temperature control, the M6D engine further reduces the chance of failure.
The VAULT100 surpasses regulatory thresholds with a new thermodynamically engineered cabinet design that sustains temperature uniformity of ±3 °C at −80 °C. With better steady-state temperature stability and uniformity at −100 °C than most ULT freezers at −80 °C, your samples are safer than ever. The VAULT100 is built for fast temperature recovery with everyday facility challenges in mind. Its enhanced engine, electronics and cabinet/inner door design ensure it gets back to temperature quickly. When operating at setpoints down to −100 °C, your samples may never be exposed to temperatures above −70 °C during/after a typical door opening.
You can also incorporate ULT performance data directly into your existing facilities’ BMS/BAS. The built-in ethernet port and BACnet interface help provide real-time event monitoring, so you can set alerts and be notified of door openings, temperature fluctuations and even engine status. Using diagnostic lights like those on a car’s dashboard, the new VAULT100 user interface allows you to be more in touch with your work than any other ULT freezer on the market. You’ll get guidance for preventive maintenance and proactive service recommendations unique to your unit, its current operating conditions and stage of life, helping you to avoid unexpected cooling failures and the potential loss of sample integrity that come with them.
