ITW Texwipe TX769E ESD-Safe Stick with Micro-Tips is a double-ended cleaning and prepping tool designed for use at ESD-safe workstations. This unique stick controls ESD without the use of carbons and without ionic antistats. The TX769E ESD-Safe Pick Swab is constructed of a low-contamination, plastic alloy that safely dissipates electrical charges in under 2 seconds. They are excellent replacements for conductive metal probes, which can scratch and damage delicate electronic components, and for wood picks, which have limited electrical performance and high contamination levels including splintering. The TX769E model is particularly suited for disk drive assembly, medical device manufacturing, wire manipulation and groove cleaning.
