Our 3M™ Aqua–Pure™ Whole House Sanitary Quick–Change Replacement Filter Cartridge AP917HD–S filter reduces sediment and chlorine taste & odor along with providing scale inhibition at a flow rate of up to 10 GPM to meet the needs of larger homes with at least 2.5 bathrooms
We designed the filter to incorporate scale inhibition media to help prevent scale build–up in water–using appliances and piping. Our scale inhibition feature uses polyphosphates in minute quantities to bind calcium and magnesium hardness minerals, preventing them from precipitating out and building up on metallic surface.
Our innovative Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design, allows for fast and easy cartridge change–outs without having to contact the filter media or the need for a filter wrench. Our Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) is one of the industry's most advanced whole house water filtration system features for this application and minimizes contact with the filter media.
