The Porta pad E launch system is large enough to accomodate those rockets that require larger, 24 mm E and F engines. It has a larger footprint for added stability and a larger blast deflector plate. The Porta pad E comes with the larger ³/₁₆" Maxi launch rod.

With a long, 30' cable, the E launch controller is perfect for even the largest Estes model rockets. The four AA-batteries provide plenty of electric current needed to ignite your Estes model rocket engines, and the long cable keeps young rocketeers at an even safer distance. A safety key lockout system ensures that electricity cannot flow while attaching and adjusting the leads to the Estes STARTECH engine starter (igniter).
Rocketeers should always wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and carefully ensure that all personell are outside the 30' launch radius before inserting the key and pushing the launch button.
