Suitable for even the most advanced anatomy courses, the highly accurate, life-size model dissects into ten parts. Remove the cranium to view the blood supply on the inner surface of the skull; remove the nasal septum to reveal the sinuses and turbinate bones. The frontal and maxillary sinuses are visible as well. The right temporal bone can also be removed to show the structures of the inner ear. The left temporal shows a radical mastoidectomy. A hinged flap on the right side of the mandible reveals sectioned teeth and bone. On the left side of the skull, the mandible is dissected, as is the left maxilla, to show the tooth roots, vessels, and nerves. The base of the skull is sagitally sectioned to show the sinuses and bone structure. It is mounted on a base, with a clear plastic protective cover.
