Anti-PKMYT1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Antibodies
PKMYT1, also named as MYT1, belongs to the protein kinase superfamily, Ser/Thr protein kinase family and WEE1 subfamily. It acts as a negative regulator of entry into mitosis (G2 to M transition) by phosphorylation of the cdc2 kinase specifically when cdc2 is complexed to cyclins. PKMYT1 mediates phosphorylation of cdc2 predominantly on 'Thr-14'. PKMYT1 also involved in Golgi fragmentation. May be involved in phosphorylation of cdc2 on 'Tyr-15' to a lesser degree, however tyrosine kinase activity is unclear and may be indirect. It may be a downstream target of Notch signaling pathway during eye development. The antibody is specific to PKMYT1.
